- New York City (NYC) Meal Pack for 9/11 Day (2021, 2023)
The NYC Meal Pack for 9/11 Day is a large-scale volunteer service project held annually to commemorate the 9/11 tragedy by supporting the community. Volunteers pack healthy, non-perishable meals for individuals and families at risk of hunger across the New York City area. The project directly impacts food-insecure individuals and families in New York City. According to Feeding America, one in four Americans experience food insecurity every day. In 2023, over 4,500 volunteers packed 1.5 million meals aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. The meals were donated to City Harvest and Food Bank For New York City. The event has grown to become the largest volunteer service project held in America in observance of the 9/11 anniversary.
- Walk to End Alzheimer’s (2021, 2022, 2024)
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. The Walk retained its second-place standing in the Peer-to-Peer Forum’s Top 30 rankings nationwide for all fundraising runs, walks, and cycling events. In fiscal year 2021-2024, the event engaged over 300,000 participants nationwide. It raised $89.5 million, a 5% increase from the previous year.
- J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge for NYC Central Park Conservation (2024)
The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge is a 3.5-mile running event that promotes corporate fitness, teamwork, and camaraderie while supporting local charities. The primary beneficiary is the Central Park Conservancy, which uses the funds to improve and maintain public parks, benefiting the entire community. The event supports the NYC Central Park Conservancy, which has used funds to host over 150 public events annually attended by more than 10,000 people. The Conservancy has planted over 10,000 trees, organized nearly 200 Love Your Park Service Days with over 3,000 volunteers and completed several park improvement projects.
- Foster Love, Alpine Foundation – Building Bikes for Underprivileged Children (2023)
This event involves building bicycles for underprivileged children and supporting the Foster Love organization’s mission to help children in the foster care system. The initiative provides underprivileged children in foster care with their own bicycles, promoting physical activity, independence, and a sense of ownership.
- Go the Distance for Autism (2023)
Go the Distance for Autism is a fundraising event supporting organizations that provide education and support for individuals with autism and their families. In 2022, the event raised more than $275,000 for Alpine Learning Group. It welcomed more than 500 attendees to the Bergen Community College Campus.
- Crohn’s and Colitis – Take Steps (2023)
Take Steps is the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s largest fundraising event, bringing communities together to support patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as their families, benefit from the research and support programs funded by this event. It provides a supportive atmosphere for IBD patients and their families.
