Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) remains steadfast in providing healthcare services to the villagers within its operational areas. Through the Jan Arogya Kendra located at its Central Hospital in Ranchi, as well as CSR Dispensaries in company hospitals at operational areas, CCL ensures that healthcare is accessible to those in need. In addition to these facilities, the company actively organizes health camps throughout the year in various villages and schools.

During the fiscal year 2023-24, a remarkable total of 685 health camps were held, benefitting 207,035 individuals. These camps cover a range of health services, addressing both general and specialized medical needs. Among the notable initiatives are multi-specialty mega health camps and disease-specific camps focused on the detection of diabetes, anemia, and hypertension. Additionally, cataract surgery camps are organized to provide essential eye care. For patients requiring more advanced treatments, referrals are made to the Central Hospital of CCL, where they receive care free of charge. 

Beyond these routine services, CCL has also taken steps to cater to the healthcare needs of pilgrims and villagers during specific events. For instance, a mega health camp was organized at Dumma, Deoghar, during the Saawan festival. This initiative aimed to address the medical needs of both pilgrims and local villagers, ensuring that comprehensive healthcare support was available during this significant period.
